Overview

Grace is a graphical frontend for csound written in python and intended for live use. It's released under the GPL license. It makes it easy to play several midi enabled .csd-files at the same time from one or more midi keyboards. Each .csd can have:
  • Midi range
  • Velocity range
  • Transposition
  • Volume
  • Tune
  • Jack client name
Grace is currently in it's early stages, you might want to take a look at ace instead.

Prerequisites

  • A working, jack enabled linux audio setup
  • Python
  • WxPython
  • PySeq
  • Csound

Installation

To check out grace from sourceforge run: 
svn co https://grace.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/grace grace
